The COVID-19 response has dramatically impacted the operation of commercial buildings. In this short video we explain how the NABERS scheme is responding to these unprecedented challenges and provide some useful tips for owners and managers on what they can do to maintain high ratings.

In their latest Ruling, the NABERS scheme administrators state that they ‘will review the impact of low occupancy and building shutdowns on rating results as the situation progresses.’ NABERS is also consulting with industry stakeholders and it seems likely that energy and water data from March onwards will have some form of normalization applied to it.
